I'm a blogger!

I finally decided to start my own blog. I have been reading blogs for a year now and love getting a sneak peak at someone else's life.

I am working on my homework for Ali Edwards' "Perspectives" class that is coming to my LSS. The homework consists of journaling 10 prompts such as "I am, I believe, and I grow". It has provided me with a chance to reflect upon my life as it is now. I love journaling. I'm nearly finished with the prompts and have started taking photos to match the journaling. I am so excited to be meeting her and can't wait to take the class.

Donna Downey's class for Big Picture Scrapbooking is so awesome! I signed up for weeks 5-8 and am having a great time completing each week's project. I am still working on my canvas for week 5. It's my first canvas and I have been trying to decide which photo I would like to use. I think I've finally decided on a landscape photo.

Yesterday was the 100th day of school for my kids. The primary classes all had parties with lots of counting activities and junk food (which they also counted). Today is 101 Dalmations Day in Kindergarten, so Em took "Puppy Chow" that I made. Ah, to be a kid again and celebrate every day!

The sun is out today! Yeah! I am enjoying the warm rays streaming through my window while I work. Of course it's only 42 F. outside but I'm imagining I'm on the beach in Puerto Vallerta agian. See, even adults can have daily celebrations.
